I guess the Farmers Market yesterday made me want to paint chickens today, it's the first thing I thought of this morning to paint. This image is one of many on loan from a very generous woman I met when I first started this, she sent me beautiful photos of chickens and gave me permission to paint from them. These chickens go back generations in her husband's family in Italy. I painted my first one, 'Alfresco' at the beginning of September.
The Arts Walk today was perfect! The best fall day so far this year. I am so happy to have been a part of it. Many thanks to LP of White Magdelena for everything she did and for having me. . .
And to all who came out today, I enjoyed meeting many new people and reconnecting with others!
Lastly, to all those who helped to plan and coordinate this event, it was particularly festive!
