Love these bottles! So solid-through, yet the glimmers, colors, and brittle gleams shatter into glass while you look.
Lisa -- Your work is a delight. Those satisfying planes of colour on fruit and objects like the wonderful sugar bowl of Nr250 indicate skilled handling of a rather large flat brush -- even at times a knife? I've been tyranized recently by my miniscule Nr2, getting more and more exacting and fiddly. You come as a welcome influence -- in addition to the pleasure!
Nice work Lisa. Love the shadow!
Lisa, you are an expert in fruits, but I like those bottles, too!Stop by my blog, and pick up the award I left for you!Good luck for your exhibition.
Lisa - you CAN paint things that are not fruit!!!! And wish gusto and aplomb! Congratulations on your show. I'm such a fan...
Thank you everyone - Alan, I wish I could use a palette knife, another technique that I like when other people use it, but not so much me - I keep meaning to try it again - I learned over the summer that palette knifes are all different depending on the maker, I feel like maybe I just haven't found one I like? I do love and use flat brushes though -
