Nantasket Plaid #322

I painted outside today at the Drop Anchor Inn near Nanatasket Beach - everyone likes their porches around here, this chair was outside on the covered porch, the sunlight was almost reaching it. . . but it wasn't - I was attracted to the color of the chair and the plaid and how it was bright even in the shadow.

  1. Love the colors of this chair. Great job on the cushion.

  2. Hey, Lisa, this will be great - I will definitely try to attend. I love this painting, too - it's so different for you!

  3. Kelley -Hi - ooooh, that'd be so great, I hope you do, I'd love to meet you in person. This painting at first I hated it, but it's starting to grow on me, lousy picture though, I want a new scanner!

Pam - thanks, the cushion was great fun, the shadow underneath it really caught my attention when I first looked at it, it's the little things !

  4. SO bright! Wow, the chair is in shadow? It looks like sunlight itself!

    Beautiful colors.
