#609 Honey Jar and daisies 12x12"

I've been playing around with a website to put my bigger paintings on. I had done one in Dreamweaver but sometimes don't have the time to change images in and out, so I just signed up for a site on Other People's Pixels, it's a work in progress, but they make it so easy!

This 12x12" is acrylic on panel

  1. Love the blue n orange. Orange keeps popping up all over the blogosphere. Must be the season. The honey jar always a great prop. Ginger honey? And nothing like a good apple or two. So different from each other, each in its own light.

  2. Lovely color harmony, Lisa. Hope you had a nice holiday. My daughter, Natalie, loves her painting and it looks great framed.

  4. I just checked out Other People's Pixels. Fabulous! But it's so cool I have to ask-- is it too good to be true?
Wait. Is there such a thing as too good to be true? Aren't good and true the same thing?

  5. Great color combination. A warm painting with coolness too. Daisies are the best!

  6. Of course, I love all your paintings! This one is really wonderful with the colors you chose. Your web site is great! The painting you first see is one of my favorites. Your site is easy to use and really fun to look at.

  8. Choice of subjects to be painted and their placement within the canvas are the keys to the success of the still life. You nailed both of those critical issues here. Once again, my eyes just wander through the painting, stopping here and there to enjoy that small piece or a larger area. The colors are more vivid!
