Lindsay - depending on what I find to distract myself with I can usually do one within two hours - however, yesterday I was preoccupied with some website stuff and just could not focus, I had a lot of starts and stops - for me, I find it best to paint as soon as I get up in the morning before I start thinking about other things!

  6. Can't decide what I love most - the composition that just grabs you or the beautiful brushwork on the china! Oh.... I love the china, too. If ever I were to purchase china, it would have to have a blue-green band on it!

    I have such a hard time with shadows, and your shadows are just wonderful, I know this had to be a difficult painting, add another star to your easel!
