12x12in Day #670

Today is 12x12 inch day. . .I also made a 12in coffee cake - my canvas for creation knows no bounds. Speaking of bounding (?), Brie magically slid into the kitchen in herobedient sitting position when she heard me open the butter wrapper - which is essentially silent. When I call her name, LOUDLY, nothing, no dog - but a whisper of a butter wrapper, poof, instant dog. She LOVES butter. 12x12in, acrylic click here to purchase

  1. I love the sense of distance in this painting, Lisa. And your dark shadows. Very dramatic!

P.S. Brie is a girl after my own heart. Everything is better with butter. ;)

  4. Like the almost abstract composition. Great color mix and those tomatoes stand out without being overwhelming.

  5. Nice change of perspective. The lighting is as remarkable as the Butter Queen's hearing Herobiedience, eh? Dood dog joke.

  6. So cool, with the fabric (paper?) tacked up behind the tomatoes! Looks like a still life conference~ And oh, beautiful color combo, too... Oh, Brie... you should try Canadian Butter (happy cows, you know...)!!
