#649 Front and (Off) Center & LAL

I had sheep on the brain when I woke up this morning. So, I decided to start a flock over here. Admittedly, I did a few of these little guys, once I started I didn't want to stop.
4x4in, acrylic

Oh, below is my submission for the Challenge over at the DPW - it's 4x4in, "LAL - Lisa's Abe Lincoln" - the challenge was to paint Lincoln in grayscale using a limited palette or paint it in color or paint both grayscale and color at the same time or we could choose to ignore it!

If you don't know about the DPW weekly challenge, it's something new. Carol Marine has come up with challenges as well as other DPW artists. This week was Raymond Logan's turn.

  1. Lisa,
That is a sassy sheep with some attitude. Love that- she is a bit out front and off center and she knows that is part of her charm! Well done- love her colors and fluffy coat. Makes me miss my Maggie!
Really good challenge painting of Abe. I admire your work!

  2. Lisa....can't decide which I like better the sheep or well done for both!

  3. This is not baaaaaaa-d at all :) I love your little sheep!!! And you know I love LAL :)

  4. Excellent job on the portrait of Abe! I love the way this looks!
