#662 12x12in Greens

sold I'm not convinced I have the color on this photo right. I typically scan my paintings, but if it's larger than the scanner, like this one, I take a picture. The shadows in real life on the painting are darker and that reflected green is more gray in real life - Oh and this is blurry and it's too dark now to reshoot. So, no for sale link on this until I reshoot it.

12x12inch, acrylic

  1. I can relate. I have trouble with photography of my paintings too! But, your work is always beautiful and I enjoy looking at your blog posts.

  3. I second what Douglas Clark said; this muted, limited palette is just delicious. I love the milky lit area in contrast to the darker values. Beautiful!

  4. This is a wonderful composition, LIsa. Love all the colors and shadows and reflections in the bowl.
