#786 In My View (Across the River)

I stood in the middle of my view today to paint. This is what I see from my window except, I drove over the bridge to the other side. So if I had thought to have looked behind me, I could have seen where I usually am, but I didn't look that way, I have just now realized. still life acrylic 6"x6" click here to purchase $100 shipping and handling $7

Other News; This is also my entry into the Daily Paintworks Challenge.

More News Still; I'm on some sort of migration path, first turkeys, then that pigeon, then the Irish Wolfhound and it's cat, and now a Great Dane.

  1. Love your paintings. So expressive and fresh and the blue you use is wonderful. Cute puppy too.

  2. I like the values in this painting.

  3. I'm always glad to see one of your landscapes. They're wonderfully simplified/

The migration is no doubt caused by Brie's come-hither looks.

  4. SamArtDog - I had a feeling she was up to no good whenever I leave. The little flirt. This explains a lot.

This painting I tweaked when I got home based on photos - I wasn't going to work from the photos but I'm glad I did. Sometimes I overwork a piece if I have a reference.
