Fiery #966

SOLD
I've been doing some math this evening and figuring out consecutive painting day 1000 is fast approaching. Any suggestions? What to paint? Where to paint? Should I celebrate by taking the day off? still life, acrylic, 6x6" click here to purchase, $100

Beautiful job on this flower, Lisa! No, don't take the day off, because I am always telling people about how you have painted every day with no day off.

No, don't stop. #1000 is too important (no pressure). I've also been wondering about what you'll paint to mark the occasion. Obviously, it's up to you, but I'd love to see a portrait of The Fluffster.

Take the day off the day after! You deserve it!

Fantastic reds!
Another great title and wonderful work of art!
Listen to your heart about taking a day off!
A self portrait would be grand for the 1000!
Congratulations on whatever you choose to do!

High drama! I mean the painting, not the approaching 1000.

Re the milestone- you could always paint a roadside mile marker...

Can't decide whether I like the reds better against the black or the white as in #964...both gorgeous of course! I agree, a self portrait would be fitting for #1000. After painting daily for 1000 days you surely have gained much personal insight which is sure to radiate from within.

Whatever you decide to post that day will be perfect! As for taking the day off? What would I have to look forward to then?

#1000 Topic - How about the studio? The homestead?

lisa- just my two cents...celebrating the 1000th by taking the day off seems the antithesis of your painting one every day with such devotion for so long. take the next day off! :D
either way congrats on 1000, i just did it myself and it felt great! love your stuff

You and your work are amazing.
Approaching 1000 daily paintings - incredible. My first thought to celebrate was painting Brie of course...then I read the self-portrait idea with Brie from Anonymous - great idea...then I thought maybe you could imagine Brie's interpretation of you and paint that.
I think you already know.
: )
We will stay tuned!

It's not what you paint, but how you do it. With your unique style, no matter what you choose, it will be fabulous! Congratulations!!!
