No, I did not guess it. But, good. After all, a girl wants to look her best! And then did she eat the flowers?

Lisa, I have been following your blog for quite some time and occasionally "pin" paintings of particular interest onto my Pinterest board devoted to favorite works of art and favorite artists. Out of respect to you I wanted to let you know that I am doing this. There is some controversy now about the matter. I am a pastel artist and my feeling is that if someone likes my art enough to "pin" it--hurrah! it brings me more exposure and hopefully drives people to my blog or to the website where I sell my paintings. For some reason, other people oppose "pinning" images of artwork. What's your view? If you object, I will stop, but I do want to learn why you object. So many of your images appeal to my aesthetic and inspire me and teach me how to be a better painter. Honestly, I cannot see a downside to "pinning" an artist's work...
SamArtDog, Brie would love to help herself most days to my setups (I gave her a piece of spinach from my salad the other night and you would have thought the animal died and went to heaven. But then she, liked it so much, she seemingly adopted it as a pet. We upgraded for a treat, so all was not lost). Sarah, thank you for 'pinning' my paintings and for your considerate comment and inquiry above. I am absolutely appreciative of the exposure and thank you for your support. I understand the concerns out there, but I do not worry about them, I like Pinterest a lot.
Great! Other artists I've contacted have said the same.
