1161 Heat

sold Yesterday I headed north on 95 to southern Maine, where I was invited to teach a private workshop for a small group of painters. It was an enjoyable day of painting in the most delightful company. Other News: This is my entry into this month's GJWP challenge, the topic is "Heat." summer life, acrylic, 6" x 6"

  1. I really really like this - it reminds me of Richard Diebenkorn, one of my favorite painters. I like the colors and the geometry of it and your usual wonderful brush strokes.

  2. Hi Lisa!
    You are so very talented!
I love these "surprise" paintings. This one is perfect. Colors, shapes, design and so much more. This "Heat" is "hot"! (Excuse the pun?)
    Take care and stay cool.
    Your art buddy,
    Michael

  3. I like Diebenkorn too, thank you for mentioning him. Michael, there was a bright green hose in the corner of this painting originally and I took it out, but I think I should have left it in.
