  1. I'm just curious about how you come up with the background color for your flowers. Do you use colored paper? They are all lovely and have a happy energy; my brain loves all the shapes of abstract color. Thank you for sharing them. You're stamina with these is remarkable!

  2. Hi! Thank you - lately I've been using some scraps of fabric that I chose based on color relationships in paintings in art history that I admire. More specifically, I'm interested in tone on tone color (like the orange against the pink) and how I can make one passage stand out from another. I am looking at this kind of color use in the work Fairfield Porter, Bonnard and Matisse so, that is where some of the colors ideas are coming from lately.
