  1. I really like this one - such a soft palette. And I think I beat Lillian and Marge to comment! Their comments - and banter - have been fun to read. You are right - they really ought to have a blog. :)

  2. Once again my comment didnot get posted. are we allowed only one comment for each still life?

you did a nice arrangement for On the Wall. i like how you showed us parts of the flowers so that we have to use our eyes to fill in the rest. I have been squinting to see these better and it does help.

who thinks up these secret codes they do not make any sense

that one did not work doweiron against

  3. Lillian probably was squinting so much that she missed the secret code and your blog.

I like the pale yellows in this still life. It looks like a wash was used on it.

i hate to admit Lillian that I agree with my friend on the pleasant arrangement and the chance to look inside of the flowers.

    Wait no code?

  4. Hello Everyone! Hi Dan, thank you for posting - I enjoyed your landscape painting over at your blog. I wasn't so sure about this soft palette so thank you for the encouragement! Hello Marge and Lillian, I like the idea of our eyes making up the rest - then we don't get too bogged down in details. And yes, no secret code - I shut if off - good riddance! It is a nuisance - now with that stated, we might get some riffraff or rather internet robots posting spam as a result, but I'll give it whirl and turn it back on if need be -
