still life, acrylic, 6" x 6" $100 click here to purchase
Today I viewed artist William Kentridge's video The Refusal of Time at Boston's ICA. It is comprised of five simultaneous projections of dance, music, movement, drawing (and metronomes) - all dealing with themes of politics, time/death and the defiance of it all.

  1. so i looked up ica and came up with an art museum in Boston and one in Philadelphia. i am guessing you were at the Boston one. that is unique design.

We have to travel some distance to see anything art that is why i like these blogs. i get a private art show in my parlor.

is this six or seven with these main characters. now you almost blurred out the vase and the flowers does this mean the end of these?

  2. I'm really enjoying your latest progression toward total abstract (or maybe not?). Not that I don't love the realism - just how your work changes over time. Thank you for doing this daily work. I find it inspiring!

  3. Hi Marge - I am going to segue into some new flowers tomorrow - these have run their course, today I approached them a little differently - I think I'm ready to move on.

Tina, yes, I am trying to go back to more abstract, I was looking back around painting #1243 and am trying to head towards that again. Thank you for commenting Marge and Tina, I appreciate your feedback!
