lots of beautiful reds here. is Rockport known for its red?

  2. Hi Marge,

I was in Rockport this weekend teaching a workshop at the Rockport Art Association. The town was bustling with day trippers and folks on weekend getaways.

Rockport is known for its reds, you are right!
The town is home of "Motif No. 1" - a red fishing shack which has been the subject matter of innumerable paintings over the years. Rockport has a long history as an artist and fishing colony and now a summer destination too!
