sold I just watched the documentary "Wasteland." In the film artist Vik Muniz, returns to his native Brazil to film and create artwork of/about a group of recyclable landfill pickers. sold After I painted my flowers this morning, I went for a morning walk on the beach. It was high tide, so we ended up here on the bayside, which is just across the street. This is my GJWP monthly challenge post. . . last month's challenge was "Tools of the Trade." And you guessed it, I painted flowers. I love the humidity, this painting stayed wet most of the day, so I kept playing with it. First the flowers were on the window sill, then the floor, then in the sink. I was chasing the light, apparently (first rule of what not to do). Although I do most of my daily paintings at 5am, because I like to start my day painting, my preferred light to paint with is in the afternoon. Today I painted these around four-ish - after Brie's walk, but before her dinner. . . 1120 Three Coats

sold Three coats of paint for the base layer does the trick for getting these brand new panels ready for painting. I used red and  I'm going to try gray too.
