This is a lot more busy, more elements in the mix competing for attention than usual for you. But you step up to it with a tightly-composed, dynamic layout that really leads the eye on a guided tour of the picture plane. Excellent work. Love the table surface!
Yesterday was a holiday and I had a lot of time so I thought I'd spread some stuff out a bit - - it took more time observing, getting everything on the canvas, the pitcher took a while to get it where it is. It was there, I killed it, then brought it back to life - Thank you! And by the way, the table surface was what made me start this to begin with!!! I'm glad you like it!
Wow, I love it! It's certainly different from what we're used to see on your blog, but it's great!Best regards,Carolina
not too tight...really great composition...really like the paintingP
Oh, it's not as loose as the others, that's what surprised me, your change of style (although I can still see you there :) It's beautiful, the whole composition, the colors, the reflections, the whites on that pitcher and the green vase...
Thanks - I've been wondering about it and then trying to figure out the diagonal composition planning. . . I still think a dot works best!!!
Love the colors and composition. Fun!
