Daffodil Daily Painting #311

Today was not the day. Everyday I wake up thinking, today is the day I will be able to paint with success from a photograph and with everyone else doing it, I figured, today must be the day. . .it was not. . . I'll keep trying though. This painting is the one that came before the one from the photo, which will not be posted, thank-you-very-much. And in the meantime, I have an alarmingly large library of photos I can't wait to paint from when the time is right.

Visit or call White Magdelena at 60 South Street, Hingham to purchase (781) 749-0048

  1. Lisa, the painting arrived today! Love, love, love it! Can't thank you enough. It's even better "in person". Please thank Brie for me too.

  2. Like your work Daria. You have a nice way with colors and your loose brushwork is great!

  3. I've always heard "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and your paintings "ain't broke"

  4. I've had days like that. More than I care to name. But so did Michael Jordan. He once said he missed more shots than he made. So it's the process. And you should take much appreciation in the success of this painting! It is simply gorgeous!!!

  5. Gina, I love that saying - so true!!!

Debbi - I had not heard that about Michael Jordan, it applies to painting for sure. . . I love this and it makes you wonder what else can you do if you just try?

So happy you like the painting Ann, what a relief!
