Nipped (in the bud) - I couldn't resist #451

This is an example of art imitating life.

The cropping of this piece is no doubt inspired by my hours of hedge trimming (okay, one hour, my attention span for all things other than painting is not so long - unless you are a porch in need of painting which by the way is also still a work in progress, I am stuck on the railings).

The painting looks a lot better than the shrubs. Trust me. I should stick to what I know. And right now I know I need a chainsaw to finish what I started outside.

  1. Funny post Lisa, beautiful painting!

  2. That's so funny Lisa. Do you even know how to run a chainsaw? (I don't)
Glad you're sticking to painting for you create lovely work.

  3. Wow! Wow! (Again!)
Much excitement. Great color! Wild movement!
I smile every time I read your blog and look at your art!
Thanks for painting every day and sharing your wonderful work with the world!

  4. Lol Your painting is lovely.

I have a tree stump in one of my flower gardens that has sprouted about 50 shoots that now tower over my head, engulfing most of the garden. I still haven't gone to cut it back... I can relate.

  5. Funny!! I have little patience for trimming or weeding, or anything involving bugs. Love your painting in it's cropped state. Great colors:)
