Not Fruit #486

SOLD
I went to the store today and bought a whole lot of miniature fruit - bite sized pears and plums and other little things. . . It's like Hershey Miniatures, except fruit - but despite my bounty, I painted these purple flowers.

  3. Love the colors, and the ruby reds. That stroke of lime green on the vase jumps out and grabs the eye and then lets it wander around those wonderful brush strokes.

  4. This one is truly special. Love the deep magenta peeking out of the petals. The warm gold is a luscious background!

  7. The slightly muted, yet strong colors you've created here are stunning. That, combined with your emphasis of the negative space outside of the vase make this a beautifully unusual piece. I love it.

  8. I'm not sure if this one has a red underpainting but it definitely has a warmth. The green areas have a warmth by association - not sure how you pulled that off. SOLD!
