Tippy Toes #514

SOLD
If you look at a famous painting in person you really like during the afternoon, it's really hard to paint when you get home.

I don't remember ever liking this painting as much as I did today, naturally I forget who it's by, and the title - I thought I knew, but I just looked for it online and I'm wrong. But I think my taste has changed - although I promise I will never, ever get tired of the sculpture of a BLT by Oldenburg. NEVER.

  1. It was Carmelina by Henri Matissse. Nice work tonight. If this is having a hard time painting, I'll take it.

  2. This one is really 'hot', Lisa, and I love the glow of the red flower!
