Pink Room #538

This is a 12x 12" painting - in between decisions on these bigger ones, I'm still painting farm animals. I now have a painted flock of sheep. I think I want a real one. And I do not have any trees in my yard but I do (did) have 37 bags of leaves, all taken away thanks to a fundraiser by the Hull Public School Theater Department. Wish I had 37 sheep.

  2. I love sheep, too! And I think you got MY leaves! I have a HUGE maple tree in my yard, but it's so windy here I have NEVER raked - they fall and blow away immediately! Oh, sometimes a handful of them get caught between my mums and the back door, but seriously, I don't even OWN a rake. So maybe next year I'll come help YOU rake! :) Do we get to see the sheep?

  4. Such a soft palette and yet the light on the vases really sings. Please, what's your secret?

  5. like this one a lot-not sure Brie would appreciate sharing your attention with a large flock of sheep. Also enjoying the sheep paintings-love the way you simplify

  6. What a lovely impressionist feel you captured with this one. 37 sheep would make for a very smelly yard, and a very anxious Brie. Better go paint a someones sheep farm.
