#855 Tomato Takes in the View

Do you think painted masonite panels will get ruined or warped if kept in a non-climate control shed? I'm cleaning out the bedroom I paint in and have taken drastic measures, I want to paint big. I need every inch.

  3. I love this tomato painting, Lisa!
I think the panels will be okay. I have done the same thing with some. However, if there is very much moisture, they will warp unless the edges are painted or gessoed. Since you don't have high humidity in New England, they'll probably be fine.

  4. Oh, Fay!!! Girlfriend, we've got humidity! Well, near the water like Lisa and I, anyway!!! I WISH it were dryer! I can't buy greeting cards more than a day or two in advance because they'll stick shut! And I've had a Raymar panel just completely peel off! She can just wrap them or put them in a bag with a ton of those absorbent things that come in shoes and canvases!
Not humidity like Florida, that's for sure, though!
Lisa I love this little tomato!

  5. Don't take the chance of putting the masonite panels in a non-climate controlled area. I have done so in the past and they did warp.
    Great work.
