1226 Simply Smart (milk)

sold Other News: I attended The SAMFund Make a Difference Celebration at Black Rock CC this morning. The SAMFund received a generous award from Hood Simply Smart Milk "Make a Difference, Taste a Difference"  competition. Chris Evert presented the award this morning, with an added surprise.  More News Still: Brie, the dog, thought I should bring a deflated, slightly used (read chewed) tennis ball for her to autograph - since Brie can't read, I don't think she'll notice I didn't work up the nerve. breakfast life, acrylic, 6x6"

  1. Exceptional palette, Lisa! I'm really vibing on the oranges you are capturing lately. That's cool news about SAMFund's award too.

  2. I've been noticing your daily paintings for some time now on DPW. Just wanted to say I think your pieces have been more and more confident and bold lately. Almost an abstract quality. The direction you are going is great.

  3. Ric, thank you, on this painting I was trying to make some different oranges than I had been making and then there was that shaded side of the yellow flower to play with.
Brian, thank you -I've been trying to get away from being representation -and thinking of being more influenced by the subject, but not literal - I'm not sure if that makes sense, but it's kind of what I'm thinking.
