Today I'm off to the outer Cape to paint landscapes for a few days. I'll post a few when I get back. In the meantime here's one I did outside at The Glades, a place where only the descendants of John Quincy Adams inhabit. It's one of those places you'd never know about even if you lived here for years. I hope I get invited back to paint more!

One of the paintings I saw recently was a lovely still life of pansies. When I got home, I realized, I too, had pansies and set them up on my favorite rug.
